Nasir recalled, Mahmudullah-Mominul dropped

Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has announced a 14-member Bangladesh squad for the first Test against Australia, recalling all-rounder Nasir Hossain and pacer Shafiul Islam.
Batsmen Mahmudullah Riyad and Mominul Haque have been dropped from the squad for the first game scheduled to be held from August 27 at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium. However, they will be in the BCB XI in the practice match against the visitors.
Earlier, these two regulars were also dropped from Bangladesh historic 100th Test that they won in Sri Lanka.
Three pacers -- Mustafizur Rahman, Taskin Ahmed and Shafiul Islam – have been included in the squad for the first Test while Liton Das has been taken as the wicketkeeping understudy for skipper Mushfiqur Rahim.
Bangladesh Squad: Mushfiqur Rahim (captain), Tamim Iqbal, Soumya Sarker, Imrul Kayes, Shakib Al Hasan, Mosaddek Hossain, Sabbir Rahman, Mehedi Hasan, Liton Das, Nasir Hossain, Mustafizur Rahman, Shafiul Islam, Taijul Islam and Taskin Ahmed.
BCB XI for two-day tour game: Nazmul Hosssian, Liton Das, Mominul Haque, Nasir Hossain, Mahmudullah (captain), Mosaddek Hossain, Irafan Sukkur, Safiuddin Ahmed, Shubashisn Roy, Tanvir Hayder, Jubair Hossain, Abul Hosain, Abu Jayed, Kamrul Islam Rabbi.
