Covid-19: Bangladesh logs 10 deaths, 243 cases in 24hrs

Bangladesh reported 10 new coronavirus-related deaths and 243 infections in a 24-hour period till 8:00am on Thursday.
Continuing a downward trend, the positivity rate dropped further down to 1.51 per cent from Wednesday's 1.80 per cent.
Bangladesh reported its first cases on March 8 last year and the first coronavirus-related death on March 18 the same year.
Meanwhile, the global Covid-19 caseload reached 242,911,625 and the death toll to 4,939,812 till Thursday morning, according to US-based Johns Hopkins University (JHU) update.
