DB arrests Qcoom owner

The Detective Branch (DB) today arrested Ripon Mia -- owner of e-commerce platform Qcoom -- on charges of embezzling money through online fraud.
Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Deputy Commissioner, Faruk Hossain, confirmed the development to The Daily Star this morning.
He said the DB chief would share more details at a press conference today at 12pm at DMP's media centre.
