Railway Minister Muzibul Haque with his new born daughter.

Railway Minister Muzibul Haque today has been blessed with a baby girl. His wife Hanufa Akter gave birth the baby at capital’s Square Hospital around 3:30pm on Saturday.

The minister’s Personal Secretary (PS) AKMG Kibria Mojumdar has confirmed the matter to media. Both the mother and the new born baby were in good condition, he said.

 Hanufa Akhter was admitted at the hospital last Wednesday night.

Earlier on 31st October in 2014, the 69-year-old railway minister married 32-year-old Honufa Akhter Rikta at a colourful wedding party in Chandina upazila of Comilla.  

Mujibul Haque, 67, has married 29-year-old Honufa Akhter Rikta in Comilla District.
