Prof Emajuddin’s wife Selima Ahmed dies
Selima Ahmed, wife of Dhaka University ex-vice chancellor Prof Emajuddin Ahmed, passed away on Thursday. Suffering from old-age complications, Selima breathed her last at Birdem Hospital in the evening, said a BNP press release. In a condolence message, BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia prayed for salvation of the departed soul and conveyed her profound sympathy to the bereaved family members. BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir also condoled her death.
