The condition of Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) Mayor Annisul Huq, who is now in a London hospital ICU, is gradually improving.

Mentioning that Annisul is still unconscious, AKM Mizanur Rahman, assistant personal secretary of the mayor said that he will be in ICU for few more days as he needs monitoring.

Mizanur said that the mayor is now under treatment at a neurological institute in London.

Annisul, suffering from neurological problem (dizziness and lack of balance) for the last two months, was admitted to the hospital on August 13. He was then diagnosed with cerebral vasculitis at the hospital.

The mayor went to London on July 29 and was admitted to the hospital on August 13.
