Two men were killed in a collision of three vehicles at Parihal Para in Burichang upazila of Comilla district on Saturday afternoon.

The deceased were identified as Shah Alam, 40, son of Shiru Miah of Gabarchar village, and Jasim Uddin, 25, son of Jharu Miah, a resident of Rampur village in Daudkandi upazila, news agency UNB reports.

Quoting sub-inspector of Moynamati Highway Police Station M Hanif UNB said a Comilla-bound bus hit a human hauler as the driver of the vehicle lost his control over the steering around 4pm, leaving human hauler passenger Jasim dead on the spot.

In the aftermath, the human hauler hit a bicycle in front of it, leaving bicycle rider Shah Alam dead on the spot.
