Mounita Khan Ishana is a well known ramp model of Bangladesh. She stepped to the media industry after becoming the second runner up in Lux Channel I Super in the year 2008. After that, she worked on numerous TV commercials i.e. Citicell, Banglalink, Pran, and Fair and Lovely Max Fairness Cream.

As an actress, Mounita Khan Ishana acted in numerous Telefilms and TV dramas namely Firiye Dilam Tomer Prithibi, Ondho Tirondaj, Byfocal, Moner Janala, Akasher Nichey Manush, Shimana Periye, Tal Betal, and One Test and so on.

Recently she talked about her works with The Daily Tribunal. She said she just completed to plays one is Durvaga Mukti directed by F D Sabbir and co artist Imon on air at Channel I another is Khacha directed by Imon Ali and co artist Shamol Mawla on air at Boishakhi TV. She also act in Ghum Pori O Jonakir Golpo and Bomatonko directed by Foyjunessa Lula and co artist Imon.

However, she said wants to works in some good plays and selection is important for that like director, making, script and co artist everything. She likes to give time friends and family in her leisure time. Any food make by her mother is her favorite like Payes and Kumro Fuler Bora. She wants to do social work if get any opportunity. Her opinion ‘I always try to be living real and avoid fake things. I am proud for this.
